My name is Jennifer Marie Luce. I have had a lot of life experiences that have stemmed around trauma and this blog is a space to discuss the tools and wisdom I’ve gained through my experiences. Join the conversation, I would love to hear from you.

Hi, my name is Jen Luce. I became an ovarian cancer survivor in 2007. Since the beginning of my cancer journey, I felt the need to provide more support to those going through what I was. I wanted to help others find their path through it all.
So, what I am trying to do here, is offer guidance to those that need help with their paths in life. There are so many avenues to explore when it comes to finding your life purpose, and when a health tragedy occurs such as cancer or depression, it can become increasingly difficult.
Now, I am not a professional, but I have a fair bit of experience in the field of anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, young adult cancer advocacy, holistic healing (nutritional supplements, meditation, yoga), and creativity.
I believe in continually learning about myself through experience, and acquiring new tools to help ease the stresses of life in a creative, compassionate way.

Hi Jen,
I’ve been looking through your blog (which I came to through youngadultcancer.ca) and can I just say … it is great!
I do PR for a medical publishing company and we’ve recently set up a website for cancer patients and their caregivers focusing on the theme of “life after cancer”.
As a cancer survivor, I would love to hear some of your thoughts re: the pyscho-social issues surrounding cancer patients (i.e., depression, anxiety and the like) and the ways you’ve overcome them.
I would love to chat with you about this further. Perhaps you can email me?
I can be reached at:

I truly look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Jen,
I was wondering if you accepted any guest posting on turnlifearound. I couldn’t manage to find your email on the site. If you could get a hold of me at ddipietro@asbestos.com, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks,
-Danielle
Hi Danielle, I sure do. Send me some information at turnurlifearound@gmail.com
Hey Jennifer, I read your blog and was really hoping that as someone who understands cancer I could have your support on a project. My aunt passed away from cancer about one year ago, and ever since then my 4 cousins have struggled to support themselves, graduate from college, and return to normal lives.
.
I decided to bike across the country this summer to raise money and spread awareness in her honor, and have raised about $5,400 so far, but I wanted to do something more then that.
I am making a documentary because I want to give hope and inspiration to my cousins and the thousands of others like them because dealing with the loss of a loved one can be overwhelming at times. Our send off is June 1st and I am running out of time to raise money for the camera equipment, so I was really hoping you would like to become part of the team.
All I ask is that you watch my 2 minute trailer:

If you are still interested can we discuss ways for you to help? My email is ericttien@gmail.com
Hello Eric,
I’m so sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. Unfortunately, I was working too hard and have been on stress leave since the beginning of July. I’ve been off the map for a few months now and not checking much of anything because work consumed my life.
